Why Hello There!

A quick hello on a little break from playing catch-up.

I want some of these posters for our dining room since they are pretty much the first thing you will see when you walk into the house. To me they are really stunning and I absolutely love that they are black. It makes them masculine in their dark tone and scientific approach, yet floral and delicate enough to appease my all-of-a-sudden girliness that has come over me lately. Any other suggestions for, ahem, cheaper alternatives would be greatly appreciated but I'm pretty smitten with these. So I guess it's back to saving pennies. I should be able to get them in about 400 years. Slowly by surely we'll get there. It's art, after all.

This only reinforces my love for wishbone chairs. Just when I decide against them, I see them in action and I fall in love all over again. I even spy one of those botanical posters on the wall there. So awesome.

Listening to these fellas really helps to keep me in a good mood. That guy on the keyboard cracks me up for some reason. He's playing a keyboard on a sailboat for crying out loud!
